Peer Review and Expert Witness

Due to their extensive experience and industry reputation for high-quality work, WRM’s principals are often requested to undertake peer reviews and appear as expert witnesses.

Peer reviews undertaken by WRM have considered a wide range of issues of critical importance to our clients, including major infrastructure projects. Our peer review services add significant value to our clients’ projects through increased confidence in study results and, in some cases, identifying critical flaws in methodology or results.

Our expert advice has been sought on legal claims totalling hundreds of millions of dollars. We have prepared expert evidence, including joint expert reports, and appeared as expert witnesses in court proceedings in various jurisdictions including the Land Court, Supreme Court and the Planning and Environment Court in several states and territories. We also provided expert evidence to the Queensland Floods Commission of Inquiry.
